Sawgrass Recreational Park has a wide range of activities for you to take part in. Feel the excitment and learn the history of Florida’s most remarkable treasure – The Everglades. As one of the rare subtropical ecosystems, the Everglades holds spectacular mysteries. Use the boat rides to get across the river at speeds of up to 35mph and get up close and personal with native wildlife, many of whom are endangered in this fragile enviornment.
The 30 minute Sawgrass airboat tour takes you through the Everglades by one of the experienced captains who have received extensive training.
Sawgrass Park also offer a Gator night ride, a thrilling night time boat ride into the Everglades. Due to popularity, this is only available on Wednesdays and Saturday nights at 8:30pm.
Sawgrass newest attraction ‘The Red Eye Tour!’ is similar to Gator Nights, only it is available every night and is reserved for your group only. Your group will board the powerful airboat deep into the night to seek Florida’s legendary reptile – The American Alligator. Sneak through the Everglades and explore the sights and sounds of the nocturnal giants.

Sawgrass adventure includes a visit to the Exotic Wildlife exhibit. Predators Unlimited is a separate organisation that brings a variety of animals to the park each day to visit. Currently, they display Shaolin, a beautiful Florida panther, 2 black leopards, Damien and Jessie as well as two stunning wolves.
The park includes a reptile exhibit, where you can learn about the dozens of species both native and exotic to Florida
Furthermore, you get the opportuniry to interact and feed many aninmals at the ‘Swamp Yard’ Island.
